Concept
Twelve 21 is a Modern American Restaurant, Bar, and Hookah Lounge with Live music events. During the dinner hours, the focus is on providing a dining experience along with a selection of the best wines, specialty cocktails, and hookah. After 10 PM, the vibe switches to a party bar and hookah lounge with live music. Whether it’s a date night or birthday party or hangout with friends, Twelve 21 is a perfect location. We serve modern American Tapas style food with flavors inspired by various regions of the world. Our Executive Chef Jason Amott has taken modern American recipes to the next level by infusing the recipes with fragrant, flavorful, and fresh ingredients. We have 2 floors with different vibes. 1st Floor is upscale lounge 2nd Floor is club set
Decore
Our decore is a beautiful, contemporary, and vibrant combination of colors.
We have 2 floors with different vibes.
Our first level is branded as TWELVE 21 and it provides the unparallel experience of dining with hookah, select cocktails, live music, and a late-night lounge vibe. On the first level, hookah is served after 5 PM in the evening.
Our second level provides a club-like setup with strobe/Dj lights, live music, food, bar, and hookah.
About Federal Hill
We are based out of Federal Hill in Rhode Island. Historic Federal Hill is a great place to take a stroll and enjoy cuisines from all over the world. In the warmer months, visitors can listen to live music at the great fountain in DePasquale Square, or one of the parks located on Atwells Avenue. About Chef
Award winning Executive Chef Jason Amott is returning to his culinary roots in Providence Rhode Island. Chef Jason has had an exceptional career spanning almost 3 decades and will now call Twelve 21 on Federal Hill home
Jason started his culinary passions growing up at the end of the cooks’ line in his mother’s restaurant. Cook, cook were the first words he ever spoke, and he has never looked back. Jason always knew that he wanted to be a chef and has always been at home in the kitchen. He attended both Johnson & Wales as well the Le Cordon Blue and holds a bachelor’s in culinary arts, he is equally versed in both the savory and pastry disciplines.
Chef Jason has received critical acclaim, numerous write ups, television appearances, and awards for his work in the culinary arts over the span of his career. He has cooked for every US President since Bill Clinton, royalty, foreign presidents, heads of state, and dignitaries, and countless celebrities and sports stars.
Chef Jason is known for his expert blending of flavors and respect for the ingredients in a dish. He is a strong believer in the mantra that the food should speak for itself, if you love the ingredients and you nurture them as such, they will create dishes that both inspire and thrill. Chef Jason comes from a time when dining was the whole reason for a night out on the town.
Over the last three decades Chef Jason has managed kitchens and restaurants that range from intimate mom and pop style Italian eateries to developing the pastry program for Harmons grocery, national training, and development teams for several major national brands, five diamond Hotels, and culinary accounts serving over 120,000 people a month and doing tens of millions of dollars in revenue.
Chef Jason is excited to bring his unique flavors and the skills he has honed over a culinary lifetime back to Providence! He hopes to make a name for the team he works with at Twelve 21 and looks forward to having you dine at the restaurant.
